Y2400 (AMJL)

And yes, I have SNCF equipment! Quite a nice kit to assemble, which I digitized with a fairly complete CMS LED lighting system created a dozen years ago...

GE 45T DROP CAB (BASE RICH YODER)

Or how to make a military 45t from a GE 44t? There's a lot of work to be done: extending the hoods, lowering the cabin, creating the side boxes, refitting the guardrails... But in the end an original and unique machine!

GE 45T MILITARY

Such machines were assigned to American bases in France such as Toul or Chinon. They also circulated on SNCF tracks after the Normandy landings, coupled in pairs, it seems. Mine was made from a photograph of a machine based in Toul. The markings were made to measure by Alain Jarry, the Transportation Corps logo having been copied from an American army site!
